New member of Graduate Council
The College had a vacancy on the Graduate Council (GC) for spring semester created by the resignation of Jill Manners. To fill this seat, we looked at results from the election held last spring for Graduate Council seats. The runner up in that election was not available to fill this vacancy as they had a teaching conflict with the GC meetings.
There was a three-way tie for the next runner-up, and those faculty worked it out among themselves to decide who would serve. Thank you Kathy Thompson, clinical professor in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice, for agreeing to serve the remainder of the term.
