Register for spring 2025 UGA Campus Emergency Response Training program
The Office of Emergency Preparedness is now accepting applications for the spring 2025 Campus Emergency Response Training (CERT) program. CERT classes will be held on Monday afternoons from Jan. 27- March 31 at the UGA Police training building near the UGA soccer/softball complex.
The purpose of the CERT program is to provide education to the UGA community about disaster preparedness. Classes include:
- Fire safety
- Disaster medical operations
- Light search and rescue
- CERT organization
- Disaster psychology
- Terrorism preparedness
- Basic first aid
- “Hands on” practice during a simulated emergency exercise
