Reporting injuries of employees and guests of the College
In order to maintain a safe environment for employees, students, and visitors, it is important that UGA be informed, at the earliest possible date, of any injuries that occur on its premises or to employees in the course of their work responsibilities.
The online injury reporting site should be completed as soon as possible, but no later than the first working day following the injury. The Office of Faculty and Staff Services should be notified by email any time a work-related injury report is submitted for any of the College’s locations.
The information obtained is intended to document injuries for:
- Non work-related: Non-employees of UGA (including students, visitors, volunteers, guests) or employees outside the course of employment
- Work-related: Employees of UGA (including faculty, staff, student employees, etc.) while in the course of employment (work-related)
