From the Dean: Update on clinical faculty teaching approval

I am pleased to share that the University has reverted to the previous instructor of record policy in which clinical faculty who hold a terminal degree do not require permission of the dean to teach 6000 and 7000-level courses.

Where permission is required, it is only necessary to obtain approval for a particular course one time, not each semester the faculty member teaches the course. Please view the full policy on UGA’s Policy Library website (see item 5).
