Submit NSF CAREER proposals by July 23

  • Proposal deadline: Wednesday, July 23

The Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program is a Foundation-wide activity that offers the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. Activities pursued by early-career faculty should build a firm foundation for a lifetime of leadership in integrating education and research. NSF encourages submission of CAREER proposals from early-career faculty at all CAREER-eligible organizations.

Please view the CAREER program webpage, which provides links to proposal resources and the program solicitation: NSF 22-586.

Faculty are encouraged to contact the Office of Research and Graduate Education pre-award team as soon as they decide to apply to this program. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss budget development and submission timeline. Reminder: All proposal documents are due for review 10 business days prior to the sponsor due date. Budgets should be complete prior to that time.
