Kudos: Advisors receive Transfer Advocate Awards
Several staff members in the College’s Office of Undergraduate Advising received recognition as transfer advocates.
Lauren Walker, senior academic advisor, and Emily Robinson, academic advisor and transfer specialist, were the second and third place winners of the 2025 Transfer Advocate Award. Presented by the Office of Transfer Services, the award recognizes faculty and staff members who contributed significant support to transfer students in the UGA community. Nominations for the award are made by transfer students, with award recipients receiving the highest number of nominations.
Laurie Zielinski, co-director of the Office of Undergraduate Advising, received an honorable mention, and academic advisors Jaime Caperton, Grace Little, and Austin Todd were nominees for the award.
