Engelhard is a visiting scholar in China

George Engelhard, a professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, is a visiting scholar in China this summer. He has given lectures at the University of Science and Technology of China and Beijing Normal University. These lectures addressed issues related to “Measurement, Explanation, and Invariance: Next Generation Invariant Measurement in the Human Sciences.”


Alumna receives Outstanding Researcher Award

Courtney Shimek, an alumna of the Department of Language and Literacy Education, received the 2025 Outstanding Researcher Award from the College of Applied Human Sciences at West Virginia University. This prestigious award recognizes faculty members whose research has significantly impacted their field in the past year.
