Submit speaker proposal for Teaching with AI in the SEC by Sept. 1
- Submission deadline: Monday, Sept. 1 at 5 p.m. CST
Faculty and researchers from across the SEC are invited to share innovative AI teaching tools, strategies, and research designed to prepare the next generation of K-12 educators. On Wednesday, Sept. 17, we will host “Teaching with AI in the SEC: Preparing K-12 Educators for the Future.” This event will allow participants to explore AI integration strategies, foster cross-campus collaborations, and discuss other AI topics focused on teacher preparation.
Flash Talks provides more opportunity for engagement and also allows us to place a larger spotlight on the great work happening throughout the SEC.
Presentation format:
- 5-7 minute, high-impact presentations that focus on showcasing tools, lesson plans, or classroom-ready AI applications
How to apply and submit:
- Record a 5-7 minute video of your proposed Flash Talk
- Submit your poster file
- As a reminder, the naming convention is: “Last Name_University Initial_Shortened Poster Title”
- Use the template provided
- Complete the online application form with your presentation title, 2-3 sentence abstract, and preferred format
Please note that all presentations will be live for one week after the workshop.
