Welcome new staff member: Emily Burns

The undergraduate advising team is pleased to welcome Emily Burns as a new academic advisor in the Mary Frances Early College of Education. Emily will be advising students in both early childhood education and communication sciences and disorders.

Emily earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Georgia, one in English and the other in international affairs. Before joining the advising team, she worked as a development coordinator for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at UGA, where she supported fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives.

In her free time, Emily enjoys creative writing, reading, painting, and spending time with her cat. Please join us in welcoming Emily to the undergraduate advising team. We are excited for the knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm she brings to supporting our students.
