Register for UGA Office of Research Launch and Learn on Oct. 8

Please mark your calendars for the Office of Research’s “Launch and Learn” event at the Coverdell Center. This drop-in event is designed to help UGA faculty, both new and experienced, learn about available support from the Office of Research (OoR) and other research-related UGA units.

All UGA faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students are encouraged to attend. You will have the opportunity to meet OoR leadership and learn more about UGA’s research core facilities and other services. Light refreshments will be served.

Please register by Tuesday, Sept. 23 and contact researchfrontdesk@uga.edu or 706-542-5969 if you have questions. Before the event, researchers new to UGA are encouraged to watch the pre-recorded 2025 Faculty Research Orientation video.

Accessing the Coverdell Center

  • The Coverdell Center is located at 500 D.W. Brooks Drive, Athens, GA 30602
  • Parking is available in the Carlton Street Parking Deck and adjacent surface lots using a departmental parking pass
  • Bus service to Coverdell Center is provided on the following UGA bus routes with stops on Carlton Street or D.W. Brooks Drive: Campus Housing, Main Campus, North South, Riverbend, Vet Med
