Halloween at MFECOE: Winners and feedback

Thank you to everyone who attended or helped with our very first Halloween at MFECOE event on Oct. 24! We had a blast and loved seeing all the adorable new faces in the halls of Aderhold.

We appreciate everyone trying a new format for our Chili Cookoff/Bakeoff this year by adding children and trick-or-treating to the mix, as well as opening it up to faculty and graduate students. We would love your feedback on the event as we look forward to next year’s fun.

The anonymous votes are in, and we would like to issue a big congratulations to our winners of the Cookoff/Bakeoff this year:

• Chili: Lloyd Rieber with his famous “Lloyd’s Feeling Lucky Again” chili
• Dessert: Caroline Calhoun-King with their delicious pumpkin chocolate chip loaf

Lloyd and Caroline will be the proud owners of the Chili Cookoff Spoon and Dessert Champion Trophy until next year’s Cookoff/Bakeoff. Congratulations!
