RSVP for Halloween at MFECOE

  • Date: Friday, Oct. 24
  • Time: 3:30-5 p.m.
  • Location: Aderhold Hall

Please register if you plan to join us for our very first Halloween at MFECOE event on Friday, Oct. 24. This new event will combine the College’s annual Staff Chili Cookoff and Dessert Bakeoff tradition with a fun new trick-or-treat event for our kids (children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc)! Our hope is that this event will help build community and provide an opportunity for fellowship. This event is open to everyone who works for the College (faculty, staff, graduate assistants, postdocs, etc).

Please sign up to let us know what you will be participating in. There are several ways you can participate in the fun, whether you have children or not:

  • Sign up to compete with your chili or dessert
  • Vote for your favorite chili or dessert
  • Pass out candy or trinkets to children trick or treating
  • Bring your children and take them trick or treating

Costumes and decorations are strongly encouraged! Please remember that there may be young children in attendance.

River’s Crossing and Ramsey: If you want to hand out candy, Aderhold Hall Room 317 will be set aside as a designated trick-or-treat area for you. You can grab a table and decorate it or you can buddy up with a friend in Aderhold to hand out candy! Just let us know when you sign up where you will hand out candy.

Schedule of events:

  • 3:30-4 p.m.: Chili Cookoff/Dessert Bakeoff drop-in in Aderhold Hall Rooms 116 and 119 (kids welcome!)
Cookoff/Bakeoff winners to be announced the following week via COEfyi
  • 4-5 p.m.: Kids trick or treating in the halls of Aderhold Hall

*Note: Dean Spangler has approved this activity. College employees may leave to pick up their children one hour prior to the event to bring them back to Aderhold (or at the discretion of their department head). All children in attendance must be under the direct supervision of their guardian at all times.

Please reach out to Jessica Crook or Rebekah Seabolt with questions!
