Burke publishes brief for National Education Policy Center
Kevin Burke, professor and head of the Department of Language and Literacy Education, wrote the new brief, which warns of growing efforts to reshape schools around White Christian nationalist ideology, with language and literacy education alumna Heidi Hadley.
Burke was also featured on two podcasts about the work, Faithful Politics and Beerocracy! with Emily Gross.
Williams receives Accessibility Champion Award
Anna Williams, student affairs professional II in the Department of Kinesiology, recently received the Accessibility Champion Award from UGA Accessibility and Testing.
The award recognizes faculty, staff, and campus partners who demonstrate exceptional dedication to ensuring equal access for students registered with Accessibility and Testing.
