Seeking UMP mentor volunteers

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2o26 during National Mentoring Month, the UGA Mentor Program is shining a spotlight on UGA mentees and highlighting the power of connection, guidance, and support that mentorship brings to our campus community. The Mary Frances Early College of Education is one of eight schools and colleges participating in the efforts.

We are seeking active mentors in the UGA Mentor Program to pair with College mentees at a tabling event inside Aderhold Hall from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Mentees and mentors will hand out hot chocolate, swag items, and info items. Each volunteer will get a free t-shirt and sent a training video beforehand. At the event, volunteers will also be provided Krispy Kreme donuts.

A Sign-Up Genius link will be shared a few weeks before the event for volunteers to select a 30-minute shift.
