Welcome new staff member: Joe McCollum

Joe McCollum has joined the staff in the Department of Kinesiology as the sport management academic support specialist. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in social science, a master’s degree in education, and a master’s degree in sport management. He is returning “home” to UGA after serving at Ball State University as the assistant athletic director for executive operations. Prior to that, he spent several years in UGA Athletics as a director of operations in event and facility management. Earlier in his career, he was a high school special education teacher and a baseball and football coach here in Georgia.
