Sakhavat Mammadov, an associate professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, was mentioned in a Futurity article about new research connecting mood and creativity.
The study, led by Mammadov and published in the Journal of Creative Behavior, found that feeling positive emotions can lead to more creativity.
“When people are more creative, they tend to feel better,” he said. “But at the same time, when they feel positive emotions, they tend to be more creative.”
