Career Advancement Programs
Keys to UGA is a year-long series that provides incoming and early career faculty with resources and information valuable to success. All faculty are welcome.

Promotion and Tenure Workshops
The UGA Office of Faculty Affairs provides workshops on promotion and tenure. Sessions are recorded and posted to the Promotion and Tenure Workshops webpage.

Leadership Development Programs
The Faculty Leader Series covers a range of competencies that include defining leadership in higher education, interpersonal communication, personal mastery, team management, and systems thinking.

Leadership Luncheons
This luncheon series brings together academic leaders for peer networking and mentoring. Deans, department heads, directors, and other leaders in titled roles are welcome to register. Due to the limited availability of seating, advanced registration is required.

The UGA Office of Faculty Affairs is pleased to announce that the 2026 New Faculty Orientatio will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Georgia Center in Athens.
UGA leaders and award-winning faculty will speak about UGA’s tripartite mission, strategies for enhancing success, and Bulldog traditions. Incoming faculty will interact with offices across the institution at a resource fair and get to know one another through a lunch and reception with deans and senior leaders. All incoming faculty are strongly encouraged to attend. Registration is required and will open in early summer.
