Staff Representative Group update

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen and enhance the Staff Representative Group (SRG), the Office of Faculty and Staff Services is assisting with a restructuring process designed to better support staff engagement, communication, and representation across the College. To help inform this work while continuing to promote celebration and community, we are seeking volunteers to serve on two different ad-hoc committees:

One committee will focus on key aspects of the restructuring effort. This committee will review current practices, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations that will help shape the future direction of SRG. Participation provides an opportunity to contribute to meaningful organizational change and ensure that staff perspectives are represented throughout the process.

The second committee will focus on SRG’s annual events and initiatives: the chili cook-off, door decorating contest, and the ice cream social. This committee will be provided with the opportunity to develop the program for the annual staff retreat while receiving support from College event personnel on venue options and logistics.

We aim for broad College representation on both of the committees, with supervisor approval required.
